Cover design is the most important aspect of any assignment. It should project the client's idea in most effective visual terms. It neccessites a discusion with the client to get a clear picture in his mind for target audience & the way to communicate. Sometimes the client wishes to create a particular mood on the cover, which is taken care of in color schemes and design elements. .

Compendium - 100 yrs. of Safety, Health & Welfare in Indian Mines
Brief       - Progress achieved over 100 yrs. of operations in Indian mines in bouyant colors.
                They wanted a color scheme that would give a sense of hope for the future
Client     - Director General Mines Safety, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India
Project   - Design & Publication of "Compendium 100 yrs of Safety, Health & Welfare in                 Indian Mines" [ A 150 pages souvenir published by Anahata for DGMS to                 commemorate the completion of 100 years of existence of the organization ]
Solution - We took the path of montage & used images that reflect a journey of 100 years
                and the mechanization that took place during the period. The montage was made
                in shape of a mountain peak with steps, depicting the growth and the background
